Dr. Gutierrez is a medical oncologist who specializes in the care of patients with lung cancer and digestive cancers, such as colon cancer. As a renowned investigator, he leads John Theurer Cancer Center's Phase I clinical trials program and other early-stage cancer research, bringing the most promising investigational treatments to patients during their earliest stages of evaluation.
